Unity in the Community

Messiah 07 CIC aims to provide young people and families with equal opportunities whilst supporting the building of stronger communities. We are dedicated to empowering young people from all backgrounds to become successful in all areas of life, education and finance.

Within 3 years, we have obtained an Ofsted Accreditation and plan to deliver a wide range of services and partnerships with other organisations, social services and schools to fully support the needs and development of young people to become the great adults of tomorrow.

Creating Brighter Futures

We’re passionate about allowing volunteering for young people and families wanting to learn new skills, whilst providing the bridge to a brighter future and a community that everyone can be proud of.

We understand that it takes a village to raise a child, and we stand to create villages through the creation of youth clubs, workshops, mentoring programmes, and breakfast, after school and holiday clubs.

Our activities & workshops

Our Aims and Missions

To build and support the recovery of young people, families and communities following the Covid-19 pandemic.

We offer Ofsted accredited services for service users starting from 3 years old up to 21 years old.

Our services are accessible for NEET children and young people who are victims of domestic violence.

We hire professionals to contribute to skills and employment in order to build stronger communities.

We will deliver workshops, mentoring programmes, sports and fun activities, and provide a safe space and volunteering opportunities for young people and adults.

We structure our services to fully support families and their needs, providing safe spaces and working with other organisations that support the wider community.

We provide valuable services and workshops for young people, from computing and chess to swimming and nutritional courses, we offer life skills that rebuild community health and wellbeing.

“Joining UGS Models was a huge experience for me, the team of models and Natasha made me feel so welcome to join as I am.
On our first catwalk together the support and connection with the team was amazing, every member uplifted each other and pushed one another to not give up through fear or anxiety.

I think everyone was able to open up a little more and be more confident showing their attitude and feeling more confident in their own skin.

I love the fact that Natasha has given me and the others this incredible opportunity, it is starting to change my view on what is defined as beauty. It presents a completely different side of who I am and how I am seen as a young black woman, compared to my time as a child and teenager.

I am really looking forward to more experiences like the one I've just had. It's really exciting to think about for my personal growth and in who I am.”

“I am really happy with how the fashion show went! At first hearing of the idea, I was quite nervous & apprehensive as I've never done anything like that before but once doing a rehearsal or two, I felt a lot more comfortable & relaxed. On the day everyone looked amazing! Everyone showed their unique light!

“I really enjoyed the fashion show, it was very well organised. I loved the fact that the models were everyday people like us. It was nice that they all had different skin tones, this shows diversity. I like the fact that their heights were different, this showed me that there is opportunity for everyone. The models seemed very professional and down to earth, I thought the same about you!

It was nice to see the variety of outfits, as well as the colours. I was very proud to see my friend in her profession. The opera singer took my breath away, she was fantastic wow what a voice!

I am a strict vegetarian I don't eat egg, fish or meat. The variety of food was good there was a lot of fresh fruit, and I was able to have some sandwiches. Generally, I had a very good day, you were so welcoming.

“My colleague and I had a great privilege to visit Unity in the Community youth club, led by Natasha Smith-Jones and a few volunteers in Feltham.

It was great to be surrounded by different age young people in such a positive atmosphere and safe environment, who otherwise would have nowhere else to go.

I just want to thank Natasha and her colleagues for this venture and for creating such a safe space for those young people where stories can be shared and needs addressed.

I would like to visit the club again in the near future.”
